Kenya Committee

Kupenda for the children performs most of its activities through its locally run affiliate organization. This is the Malindi District Special Education Resource Organization (MADISERO). It is registered in Kenya as a Community Based Organization (CBO) which consists of local special needs teachers, pastors and parents of children with disablities. The officers meet regularly with the Kupenda Kenya director and biannually with the founder and international director of Kupenda. The commitee members meet on a voluntary basis and Kupenda for the children board members heavily rely on their ideas and input regarding how to best meet the needs of children with disabilities on the Kenya coast. The comittee is led by the Kenya director and secretary, chairman, vice chair, and treasurer
