Elinah Bendera

Elinah works in the Shomella primary school hearing impaired unit. She is deaf herself and had the rare privilege of a thorough education at a deaf school far from Malindi. It is rare for an adult in the area to be so proficient in sign language. Therefore Elinah is an incredible asset to this hearing impaired classroom. She assists the teacher in many ways including teaching class when the teacher is away.
