Boarding Facility Expansion

The Gede special needs boarding facility is currently the only fully operational boarding facility for special needs children in the Malindi district. Eighty-five of the 92 children that are sponsored through Kupenda attend this facility. However, it is getting full and therefore needs to be expanded. Without expansion children will be turned away regardless of having funds for their school fees.

The Constituencies Development Fund (CDF) is financing the majority of the facility expansion with only an additional $6,000 needed to for the boarding facility to be completed.
