Advent Conspiracy for Kupenda

On Sunday, January 3rd, Mosaic Christian Church in Baltimore, MD took up a Christmas collection for Kupenda as part of their holiday "Advent Conspiracy".  The Advent Conspiracy focused on reclaiming Christmas as a season of compassion and hope centered on Christ, rather than a season of stress, debt, and loss of purpose.  As a result, the one year old church united together to give a gift that mattered.  The congregation raised over $6,600 to put a 240,000 liter bin to provide water for 10 years for the children at the Marafa School.  This has been a critical and desperate need for our children.  Additionally, since the church surpassed their goal of raising $3,200, the excess money will be used to assist Kupenda with putting water in the Gede Special School as well.  Kupenda sincerely wishes to thank everyone who contributed!  How typical of God to surpass our expectations this holiday season!
