AFC Sugar Hill Mountain Bike Race

On Saturday, March 20, 2010, Adventures for the Cure (AFC) held their 2nd annual AFC Sugar Hill Mountain Bike Race at Maryland's Patapsco State Park. This year the park allowed AFC to have a total of 200 participants--double the race limit for last year! The day's festivities included beginner, sport, single speed, and expert races, as well as food cooked on the grill, drinks, and prizes. The event raised over $5,000 to be divided between Extreme Weekend For Children With Diabetes and Kupenda for the Children.
