First Baptist Church of Bangor Youth Choir raises over $5000!!

A letter from First Baptist Church of Bangor, ME:

Dear Friends,

You may have already heard this from Randy Wilbur, but the First Baptist Church of Bangor Youth Choir has returned from our choir tour, and on that tour we took up a collection for you at every concert.  One of our young men whose little brother is disabled spoke at every concert about his brother and about the children Kupenda seeks to help.

We had hoped to raise over $1000.  Instead, we raised just over $5000.00 for the wonderful work of Kupenda!!!!

We hope to see you and present our check to you (and maybe even sing for you, depending on schedules) when you meet in Eastbrook this month.  We are all, adults and youth alike, praising God for this wonderful experience and opportunity, and we look forward to being in touch with you more soon...

Cynthia was able to visit the Youth Choir while she was in Maine for a Kupenda Board Meeting.  The choir gave her the check and also sang a song for her.
