HVC Bike Ride for Kupenda

Hunt Valley Church Sunday school kids (kindergarten-4th grade) raised support for Kupenda for the children through a bike ride around the church parking lot.  This was coordinated by Lauren Boswell who will be joining us in Kenya this June.  The kids rode on bikes, scooters, skateboards and anything else with wheels.  They were led by Pat Blair who recently biked across the US to raise funds to build a boarding facility for handicapped children in Kenya.  This was their inspiration for biking laps around the church parking lot.  They were told about the children in Kenya and some are going beyond this day even talking about donating their birthday money to the children Kupenda supports.  All of their fundraising money has not yet come in but stay tuned here for the final numbers.  Its amazing what happens when children are motivated to make a difference!
