Children with disabilities in Kenya are often shunned by society and even their own parents. Some of these children have been abandoned, abused, hidden, or simply ignored because of their disabilities. Others are sent to the streets to beg. According to current estimates, there are still 400-500 children in the districts Kupenda supports who cannot be assisted due to limited resources. This is in addition to the estimated 500 or more children that have yet to be discovered.
For less than a dollar a day ($30 per month or $360 a year), you can help make a tremendous difference in a child’s life. One hundred percent of your contribution goes to providing your child with school fees, food, supervision, and facility costs like electricity and water.
